RAP4BRONX's Program Director in 40 Under 40: Rising Stars in NYC Food Policy

We are honored and proud to have our very own Shana McCormick being included in The Hunter College New York City Food Policy Center Class of 2023, a selection of 40 individuals under 40 years old, that includes policymakers, educators, community advocates, and innovators who are working to transform and improve the food system.

With an unwavering commitment to making a difference, The Skyline Charitable Foundation's Executive Director and RAP4Bronx’s Program Director is recognized for making significant strides to create healthier, more sustainable food environments and to use food to promote community and economic development.


Shana has transformed the Relief Access Program for The Bronx into a flourishing initiative that reaches the most vulnerable populations. Her passion and determination have not only inspired the team, but also ignited a community-wide movement that has gained national recognition. Her efforts have resulted in a multitude of initiatives that provide nutritious meals, food assistance programs, and educational resources for individuals and families struggling with food insecurity.
